adidas & Wales Bonner: back to the 70s

adidas and Wales Bonner partnered earlier this year at London Fashion week to present a collection that takes you back to the 70s. After this successful preview, adidas and Wales Bonner finally released the collection to the public on the 20 November. And... we love it!

The collection captures Wales Bonner's Jamaican heritage, specifically drawing on subcultures in the 1970s from the perspective of Caribbean youth in London. Her intellectual and deeply contemplative viewpoint results in a range of clothing and footwear that marry personal identity with enduring aesthetics and a sophisticated, yet relevant take on sportswear.

Wales Bonner has sensitively reworked adidas classics like the football jersey, the iconic tracksuit and various sneakers into an equally interesting and appealing range.
